I always ask for the dessert menu even if I am not going to buy one as I am always curious to see what is being offered. There were a few that I could not pass up on. The top image is Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Egg Rolls. They were perfectly crunchy on the outside with a gooey chocolate chip dough center. The wonton wrappers had been lightly sprinkled with coarse sugar.
The chocolate cake was a dense yet moist cake that reminded me of a bread pudding. It was hard to share this with the dinner guests at the restaurant. We also ate their Beignet Sunday. The Beignets could of been a touch more tender but as the ice cream soaked into them, the Beignet Sunday got better and better.
Our last photo are of two individual cheesecakes served in jars. I think the blackberry-strawberry cheesecake tasted good but my wife ate it all before I could get a bite. I thoroughly enjoyed the Honey-Bacon Cheesecake. It was the perfect size to finish off dinner that night.
